Socially responsible investing

There is such a thing as socially responsible investing. It's investing in the stocks of companies with the smallest gap between the highest and lowest paid workers, the best track records of self-imposed environmental and health policies and the greatest board and leadership gender, race and generation diversity.

If you have little faith in companies self-regulating and governments publically regulating these performance standards, it is up to investors - voting with their dollars - to make this shift occur.
